The Sports Department, in collaboration with the “Vanquishers” Sports Society, organized the “1^st IoBM Inter University Sports Blitz 2024” on April 22^nd, 24^th & 25^th, 2024. This event served as a stage for intense competition and unforgettable moments, with 28 Universities across and over  800  students/athletes showcasing  their  prowess  in various sports disciplines.

Brig (R). Prof Dr. Muhammad Abbas inaugurated the event on April 22^nd featuring eight sports, which included Futsal (Boys), Basketball (Boys & Girls), Throwball (Girls), Table Tennis (Boys & Girls), Chess (Boys), Snooker (Boys) Squash (Boys), and Badminton (Boys & Girls). The students’ enthusiasm and dedication throughout the events were truly commendable.

In a captivating showcase of talent and sportsmanship, “IoBM emerged as the Overall Champion”, demonstrating excellence across various disciplines.

In the Grand Closing Ceremony, Mr. Talib S. Karim, President of IoBM and Ms. Sabina Mohsin, Vice-President of IoBM were honored as Chief Guests. Ms. Saba Rashid, International Badminton Player, Mr. Navid Qureshi, Head of Finance at Hutchison Ports Pakistan, Mr. Arif Hussain Nomani, Sr. General Manager Ismail Industries Ltd, and Mr. Talseem Mukhtar from Dr. Essa Laboratories graced the event as Guests of Honor for the prize distribution ceremony, all dignitaries celebrated the exceptional achievements of the participants and awarded the Trophies and Medals to the Winners & Runner ups.
