Marka-e-Haq Independence Day Essay Writing Competition
The Literary Public Speaking Society organized the Independence Day Essay Writing Competition at IoBM during the week leading up to Pakistan’s Independence Day. The exciting weeklong event ran from July 29 to August 2, 2025, and brought together many talented IOBM students, who showcased their writing skills and creativity through active participation.
Sham-e-Sukhan: Independence Day Poetry on Pakistan
IoBM celebrated Independence Day with “Sham-e-Sukhan Independence Day Poetry,” an event where faculty members and guest poets shared their poetry about Pakistan.
Marka-e-Haq Independence Day Inter-University Padel Championship (Boys and Girls)
celebrated Independence Week by hosting the thrilling “Marka-e-Haq” Inter-University Padel Championship 2025 on August 9. Held at the IoBM Padel Court, the tournament was a heartfelt tribute to Pakistan’s resilience, passion, and unwavering sporting spirit. Ten top universities and institutions competed, demonstrating exceptional skill and sportsmanship throughout the day. The final match was a testament to competitive excellence.

IoBM’s Independence Day celebrations included a Snooker Championship in which the faculty and management played competitive games. Zafar Siddiqui, Officer in the IT Department, won the Snooker Championship.

On August 13, 2025, the students and teachers of Creek High School celebrated Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm.

Students actively participated in patriotic activities, including singing national songs and performing tableaus that reflected the spirit of unity and resilience. Dressed in green and white, with Pakistani flags in hand and flag pins proudly displayed on their chests, they paid tribute to the nation’s independence.

OnAugust 14, 2025, IoBM’s Senior Leadership, HoDs, Management, Faculty, Staff, and their families gathered at IoBM to join the
festivities marking Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day. Student members from IoBM’s societies, including LPSS, Vanquishers, and the
IoBM Film Society, who actively participated in the Independence Day celebrations, were also present. Everyone has taken part in the
Plantation drive. Wearing green and white and holding the Pakistani flag with the Pakistan flag pin proudly placed on their chests, the
IoBM Family enthusiastically reignited the spirit of freedom.
