IoBM Triumphs at the Boys’ Bodybuilding Inter District Championship 2025

We are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Abdul Qadir Ali Asghar (Student ID: 20242-35491), who has brought immense honor to the Institute of Business Management (IoBM).

Representing IoBM at the Karachi District South Bodybuilding & Fitness Championship, Abdul Qadir competed in the 70-80 kg weight category, securing the 1st Position Title and qualifying for Mr. Karachi & Mr. Sindh. His dedication, discipline and unwavering commitment to excellence embody the spirit of sportsmanship that IoBM strives to instill in its students.

The IoBM E-Sports Team demonstrated remarkable dominance in the Inter-University/Open Category at NUCES FAST Olympiad 2025. The competition featured events in Valorant, FIFA and Counter-Strike (CS) held from February 5th to 6th. Detailed results from each event are outlined below:

Girls’ Throwball Team Lifts Runners-Up Trophy

The IoBM Girls’ Throwball Team delivered an outstanding performance, securing the Runners- Up position in the Inter-University/Open Category at the NUCES FAST Olympiad 2025. The team demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and made a significant impact at the university level. The results of the matches are as follows

  • Semi-Final: IoBM vs FAST (2-1, Winner: IoBM)
  • Final: Problematic vs IoBM (2-1, Winner: Problematic)

IoBM Cricket Team Clinches the Championship Title in DSL’25

The IoBM cricket team triumphed in the Denning Super League 2025 (DSL’25) securing the Championship Title 🏆for the Second Consecutive year with a commanding 10-wicket victory over Indus University in the final. The team remained undefeated throughout the Championship, winning all five matches.

In the final, IoBM’s exceptional bowling and fielding restricted Indus University to a total of 130 all out. During the chase, IoBM comfortably achieved the target in 12 overs without losing a single wicket.

Throughout the group stage, IoBM achieved notable victories against Indus University, Denning Law School and FAST University and secured their place in the final by defeating SZABUL University in the semi-finals.

Individual Performance

Bilal Khalid, Captain (20201-27682), was awarded “Man of the Match” in the final and recognized as the “Best Player of the Championship 2025.”

Balaj Ali (20212-32784) was honored as the “Highest Wicket-Taker” of the Championship. Malik Zain Ul Abdedin (20221-33208) received the award for “Best Fielding” from IoBM.

The Boys’ and Girls’ Badminton Teams secured the Winner Trophies in the Team Events at Denning Fest ’25

In another remarkable achievement for IoBM’s sports teams, the IoBM Badminton Team participated in the Denning Fest’25 at the Sindh Sports Board (SSB), where they showcased exceptional performances and sportsmanship. The results were as follows:

  • Ali Asif (Std. 20211-30988) & Hamza Ishtiaq Chaudhry (Std. 20231-33910) emerged as the Men’s Event Winner
  • Zainab Hanif (20211-31056) & Mehak Sunil (20221-33199) claimed the Women’s Winner Title.

Both teams delivered stellar performances, with impressive results in the finals, once again asserting their dominance on the court. These achievements reflect IoBM’s continued commitment to nurturing talent and promoting a strong sense of sportsmanship across the student body.

The IoBM Boys’ and Girls’ Badminton Teams delivered exceptional performances at the IBA Sports Fest 2025.

Matches Result:

Girls’ Doubles Final: IoBM defeated IQRA University 2-0 and clinched the Winner’s Trophy. Boys’ Singles Final: IoBM faced University of Karachi and secured the Runner Up Trophy.

IoBM Girls’ Basketball Team Secured Runner-Up Position

The IoBM Girls’ Basketball Team displayed remarkable skill, finishing as Runners Up after an intense final against Bahria University at the IBA Basketball Court.

IoBM Girls’ Throwball Team Achieved Remarkable Success

With exceptional teamwork and skill, the IoBM Girls’ Throwball Team reached the final at the IBA Throwball Court, securing the Runner-Up Position against Denning Law School. This marked their fourth consecutive final, adding another honor to their achievements.

IoBM Boys’ Football Team Lifted the Runner-Up Trophy

The IoBM Boys’ Football Team demonstrated excellence in the final match against IBA. In a thrilling contest, the match ended in a 2-2 draw at full time, leading to a penalty shootout. IoBM scored 3 penalties, while IBA secured victory with 4 penalties, winning by the narrowest margin.

IoBM Cricket Team Shines at IBA SPORTS FEST 2025

The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) achieved an outstanding victory at the IBA SPORTS FEST 2025, securing top honours in the Cricket Championship.

The championship began on February 17th and the Grand Final was played on Friday, February 21st at the IBA Cricket Ground, where the IoBM Cricket Team triumphed to claim the Championship. Under the Captaincy of Bilal Khalid (20201-27682), the team delivered remarkable performances and maintained consistency under pressure, securing the coveted Winner’s Trophy and bringing immense pride to the Institute.

Syed Rumail Sarocsh Ahmed (Std 20241-37238) delivered an exceptional performance in the finals, earning the “Man of the Match” & “Man of the Championship Titles. IoBM batted first, finishing with a score of 186/6, while Institute of Business Administration (IBA) was bowled out for 154/10. The IoBM team Clinched Victory by a margin of 32 runs.
